Oakland Raiders Select Darius Hayward-Bey with the No. 7 Pick in the 2009 NFL Draft

The Oakland Raiders selected Maryland’s wide receiver Darius Hayward-Bey with the No. 7 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Oakland once again focused on the offensive end of the ball and took the speedy Hayward-Bey, surprising many who had Michael Crabtree as the top wide receiver in the draft.

The Raiders selected running back Darren McFadden with their first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Matt Stafford (Detroit), Jason Smith (St. Louis), Tyson Jackson (Kansas City), Aaron Curry (Seattle), Mark Sanchez (NYJ), Andre Smith (Cincinnati)
