Denver Broncos Select Knowshon Moreno with the No. 12 Pick in the 2009 NFL Draft

The Denver Broncos selected Georgia’s running back Knowshon Moreno with the No. 12 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Denver is coming off an 8-8 season but their collapse at the end of the year signaled a time for change and with All-Pro QB Jay Cutler gone the Broncos need some offense and Knowshon Moreno was the best back in the draft.

The Broncos selected offensive tackle Ryan Clady with their first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
