Houston Texans Select Brian Cushing with No. 15 Pick in the 2009 NFL Draft

The Houston Texans have selected USC’s outside linebacker Brian Cushing with the No. 15 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Houston is coming of an 8-8 season and many believe they are ready to take the next step and challenge for a playoff spot in 2009 and with the 6’2” 247-pound Cushing they just bolstered their defensive line significantly.

The Texans selected offensive tackle Duane Brown with their first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
