The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded up, taking the Cleveland Browns No. 17 pick to select Kansas State’s QB Josh Freeman in the 2009 NFL Draft on Saturday.
Tampa Bay has been trying to address their issue at quarterback and they believe the 6’5” 248-pound Freeman could eventually become a significant piece of their offense.
The Buccaneers selected Aqib Talib with their first round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
