Hampton University Shooting Leaves Three Injured

A shooting at Hampton University in Virginia left three people injured, including the gunman. A former Hampton student entered Harkness Hall Dormitory early Sunday morning and shot the dorm manager and another man before turning the gun on himself.

No students were injured or killed in the shooting. The gunman and his two victims were hospitalized.

The 18-year-old shooter’s identity has not been released. No details about the two victims or their injuries were available.

Officials did not know the motive for the shooting. The campus remained on lockdown Sunday morning while the shooting was investigated.
