NBA Playoffs Western Conference Schedule: Los Angeles Lakers Look to Wrap Up Series with Utah Jazz

The Los Angeles Lakers will have a shot at wrapping up their best-of-seven playoff series with the Utah Jazz on Monday night as they return to their home court with a commanding 3-1 lead.

L.A. bounced back from a disappointing Game 3 loss to knock off the Jazz in Game 4 as Kobe Bryant scored 38 points to end a shooting slump that played a big role in their only loss of the series. While the first two games of the series were decided by 13 and 10 points the games weren’t that close and the Jazz will have to figure out how to avoid falling behind big early.

For Utah the pressure will once again fall on the shoulders of Carlos Boozer who has had a solid playoff series thus far but he has lacked the support from the rest of his team. The Jazz struggled all year on the road and if they are to keep their season alive they will not only need to beat the Lakers three straight, two of those will have to come in Los Angeles.

The Lakers would like nothing more than to get the series over with and rest before they face the winner of the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers series.

Tip-off is set for 10:30 p.m. ET.
