Boxing Champ Greg Page Dies at 50

Greg Page, a former MBA heavyweight champ, has died. Page passed away early Monday morning at his Louisville, Kentucky home. He was 50.

Page’s wife says he died of multiple complications from boxing injuries and paralysis. In his final fight in 2001, Page suffered a serious brain injury and slipped into a coma. The brain damage left him paralyzed on his left side, confining him to a wheelchair. He later suffered a stroke during surgery.

Page had a successful boxing career with 58 wins, 16 losses and one draw.
