NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Schedule: Boston Celtics Return Home, Eye Series Advantage Against Chicago Bulls

The Boston Celtics probably feel like they let a golden opportunity slip away when they dropped Game 4 in double-overtime to the Chicago Bulls but they can bounce back on Tuesday night and regain control in their Eastern Conference best-of-seven playoff series if they can find a way to win.

Chicago won’t be intimidated as they have already knocked off Boston on their home court but the status of Ben Gordon is leaving many to question whether the Bulls will be firing on all cylinders on Tuesday. Of course the Celtics have been forced to play without Kevin Garnett but they have had plenty of leadership from Ray Allen and Paul Pierce while Rajon Rondo has been unbelievable, averaging a triple-double for the series.

With the series tied 2-2 the Bulls remain confident in their ability to knock off the #2-seed Celtics and Rondo’s counterpart, Derrick Rose, has shown he is ready for the big time right now. Rose scored 36 points in the Bulls Game 1 win and in Game 4 he went for 23 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.

Three of the four games played in the series have been decided by three points or less and Boston will be playing with a sense of urgency on Tuesday as they don’t want to go to Chicago in a must-win situation.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
