NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Schedule: Orlando Magic Continue Battle with Philadelphia 76ers, Series Lead at Stake

The Orlando Magic have run into a determined Philadelphia 76ers squad and have been fighting for their playoff life since their loss in Game 1 but a huge road win in Game 4 evened their Eastern Conference best-of-seven playoff series at 2-2 and when Game 5 is over one of the two teams will be a win away from the semifinals.

It would appear that the Magic would have the advantage as Orlando posted a 32-9 mark in their own building while Philadelphia was 17-24 on the road but the 76ers shocked the Magic in Game 1 and have shown no signs of being intimidated. So far Philadelphia appears to be willing to allow Dwight Howard to have his way as he has been the consistent force for the Magic. Philly has buckled down on the perimeter game of the Magic though and that is where they have concentrated their efforts.

Offensively the 76ers have been balanced with Andre Iguodala and Andre Miller carrying to scoring load while Samuel Dalembert has come up with big games in Philly’s two wins.

Much like the Boston/Chicago series, three of the four games in the series have been decided by three points or less. Tuesday will be a major swing for the team that comes out on top and for the Magic they will need another strong performance from Hedo Turkoglu and a solid game from Rashard Lewis as well as Rafer Alston while the 76ers will certainly be relying on the dual threat posed by Iguodala and Miller.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
