Israeli Police Arrest Seven Suspects in Bomb Plot

Seven Arab Israelis have been arrested by Israeli police after authorities uncovered what they believe to be a plan to carry out terrorist attacks inside the country.

According to police the plan to bomb specific targets and kidnap Israeli soldiers was designed as a retaliatory act for Israel’s offensive in Gaza that left a reported 1,400 dead.

A search of the suspects’ homes uncovered several explosives and evidence that they were plotting to kidnap members of the Israeli Defense Force.
