NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Schedule: Chicago Bulls Look to Keep Season Alive as they Host Boston Celtics

The defending NBA champion Boston Celtics have a shot at advancing to the Eastern Conference semifinals on Thursday night as they travel to face the Chicago Bulls in Game 6 of their best-of-seven series.

Boston edged Chicago in their Game 5 overtime thriller to grab a 3-2 series lead but they have had plenty of trouble handling the young Bulls as three of the five games have gone into OT and four of the five have been decided by three points or less.

The Celtics have had a great series from Rajon Rondo and clutch performances from Paul Pierce and Ray Allen but they’ll need a defensive effort on Thursday if they are to finish of the Bulls as Ben Gordon and Derrick Rose have provided plenty of firepower to keep Chicago alive. The health of Gordon could play a big role in Thursday’s outcome as he has been playing with a strained left hamstring.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
