Ten cases of swine flu have been confirmed in South
Carolina be the Centers for Disease Control. It is unclear where the cases are
located in SC.
Those cases come after Georgia confirmed their first case
of swine flu. A 30-year-old woman in LaGrange was diagnosed with the deadly
virus Thursday. She remains hospitalized.
The CDC reports a total of 109 cases in the United
States. People who suspect they may have swine flu are advised to stay home and
call their doctor. Symptoms are very similar to regular flu and include fever,
cough and sore throat.
