Former NASCAR driver Kevin Grubb was found dead in
Virginia motel room Wednesday. Grubb’s body was found around 11 a.m. by Alpine
Motel employees. His cause of death has not been determined.
Authorities say foul play is no suspect as nothing
suspicious was found at the scene. Grubb was 31.
Grubb’s NASCAR career began in 1997. He was suspended in
March 2004 after failing a drug test. As part of his reinstatement, Grubb
agreed to submit to random drug tests. He was suspended indefinitely in 2006
after refusing to take to a random drug test.
