Cigars International hosted their 6th annual CigarFest this past weekend. With 2,500 attendees packed into a 40,000 square foot Pocono Mountains resort, this year’s
Fest was the largest ever. Over 140,000 total free cigars were handed out to guests, along
with over 2,500 humidors, ashtrays, posters and numerous other giveaways. Among the other highlights were the raffle prizes - over 90 items were given away, including a shiny Hummer H3 from 5 Vegas – which raised a record-breaking $29,400 for the non-profit LifePath organization.

CigarFest 2009 played hosted more cigar makers than ever before. Among the 33 exhibitors were Rocky Patel, Nick Perdomo, Don Pepin Garcia, Jonathan Drew (Drew Estate, Acid and Natural), Kaizad Hansotia (Gurkha), Tim Ozgener (CAO), Nestor Plasencia (5 Vegas), Nestor Miranda, La Gloria Cubana, Ashton, La Aurora, Graycliff, Charlie Torano, Alan Rubin (Alec Bradley) and more.
Making its first appearance was Man O’ War Cigars, a consensus crowd favorite. The models, along with cigar maker A.J. Fernandez, were on hand promoting the Man O’ War line of cigars and new Man O’ War Ruination.
A CI customer traveling from Dekalb, IL commented: "We could not believe all the free cigars we got, all the "Rock Stars" of the cigar industry we got to meet and all the fun throughout the weekend. We drove more than 12 hours to get there and on our way home we started planning for next year's event. Thank You CI! Thanks to all the vendors and lovely ladies whom graced our presence.
