A twin-engine plane carrying 5 people crashed Saturday afternoon,
killing all on board. The plane went down in Gardnerville around 4:10 p.m.
Witnesses say the plane nosedived and they did not hear any unusual noises from
the plane or see any parts separate. There was no fire.
Authorities have identified three of the passengers as
Paul Dallas, 43; Leia Denner, 40; and Brent Fahey, 30. The names and ages of
the fourth passenger and pilot will not be released until their families are
informed, the Douglas County sheriff’s office said.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the
crash.
