U.S. Soldier Kills Five Comrades at Baghdad Base

A U.S. soldier has shot and killed five of his colleagues while wounding two more at a base in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

The shooting took place inside Camp Liberty at a clinic for troops receiving care for personal issues or combat stress. Pentagon officials have confirmed that the shooter was taken into custody and is now being questioned.

There has been no motive released in the attack, the deadliest involving U.S. soldiers since April 10 when five servicemen were killed by a roadside truck bomb.
