Kirksville, Missouri Tornado Damages Homes, Kills 3

Kirksville, Missouri was hit the hardest. A tornado damaged at least 40 homes and shattered windows at a car dealership. One home was completely destroyed and three people were killed.

School was canceled in several counties because of power outages and damage to the school buildings.

Oklahoma was also affected by the storms. A possible tornado tore several roofs off homes and business in Gracemont and Anadarko.

Central Indiana was flooded in at least three areas and at least 8,000 people are without power.
