Summer Enrichment Program Teaches Success to Pre-Teens

Middle school is one of the most awkward and difficult times in a student’s young life. With teachers, classes, friends, and family all becoming more challenging, the middle school years become more demanding one day at a time. Fortunately for these pre-teens, there is a summer enrichment program to help them find the tools they need to successfully navigate through their middle school experience.

For the past 28 years, SuperCamp’s academic summer camps have held 10-day programs to teach learning and life skills to middle school students to encourage success inside and outside the classroom. Kids entering grades 6 – 8 discover their individual learning styles and develop skills for dealing with a heavier academic schedule. They also learn how to participate in “real-life” activities that enable them to make responsible choices and win the support, understanding and guidance of teachers and their parents. While at SuperCamp’s Junior Forum, students build friendships with peers from across the country and even the world, discover their talents and strengths and prepare for their transition into high school.

Junior Forum’s
middle school summer camps are renowned for success in youth development. After ten days at SuperCamp, results include better grades through the learning of study skills, and increased student motivation through life skills and team building. Together this combines for a great bridge into SuperCamp’s Senior Forum teen summer camps where Junior Forum grads can further build upon their learning and life skills fundamentals and personal character development by continuing to explore SuperCamp’s ‘8 Keys of Excellence.’

Junior Forum youth development camps are available on seven regional college campuses across the country including Stanford University, Cornell University, and Wake Forest University, at multiple times throughout the summer. This gives parents plenty of locations and dates to choose from when considering summer plans for their child.
