After a 5-year hiatus, Blink 182 has reunited and announced
dates for a summer tour. The 50-date tour kicks off in July in Las Vegas and
wraps up October in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The band -- Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge –
say they are keeping ticket prices down. “If you have $20, you get in. No fees
or anything,” their manager says.
The production designer for rapper Kanye West has been
hired to create “the most ridiculous display of lights and images we can
imagine.” Joining Blink 182 on various dates includes Weezer, Fall Out Boy,
Panic at the Disco, All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth and
Chester French.
