Jayson Hunter reveals that healthy diet plans are the key to long term good health

Registered dietitian Jayson Hunter reveals the key to a long and healthy lifestyle – healthy diet plans. He believes that following a healthy diet plan is much better than adopting some of fad diets out there. Healthy diet plans are designed to include all the right foods in the right proportions after taking into account the unique needs of each individual.

 

Hunter explains, “Nowadays, most people are just too busy to be able to cook food at home in a healthy way. It is not surprising then that they are looking for some sort of a healthy diet plan which will keep them healthy and fit”. He adds, “Healthy diet plans are an ideal choice for people who are conscious of their health and want to remain healthy”.

 

Here are some of Hunter’s tips for a healthy diet plan:

 

1) Go Nuts – Healthy diet plans usually recommend that you include a serving of nuts everyday. Nuts like almonds are rich in vitamins and minerals which have a variety of health benefits.

 

2) Eat early and eat right – It is important that you aim to eat the right foods in the right quantities. Stick to the foods pyramid when making your choices. Also, ensure that you eat your meals at least 3 hours before you wind down at night.

 

3) Remember Popeye, load up on those green leafy vegetables – Green leafy vegetables should be a part of all healthy diet plans. They are great source of essential vitamins and minerals. Include about 4 servings of vegetables in your daily diet.
