Registered dietitian Jayson Hunter reveals the top three healthy eating tips for today’s teenagers. He believes that youth today tend to eat a lot of junk food and don’t have much time to workout. Following some healthy eating tips can help teenagers improve their health and overall lifestyles.

 

Hunter explains, “Which teenager doesn’t love some form of junk food. In fact, many teenagers live off fast foods like chips, burgers, pizzas, etc. Healthy eating tips can ensure that they eat the right foods which provide them with the proper nutrition for their age”. 2) Avoid pre-processed foods – One of the most important healthy eating tips is to avoid all forms of pre-processed or pre-packaged foods. Such foods are usually loaded with harmful preservatives and fats.

 

3) Drink water – Teenagers should make sure that they drink about 6-8 glasses of water on a daily basis. Replace the sodas with bottled water.
