Summer Camp Videos Show Parents A Lot About Summer Camps

Families are discovering that summer camp videos are an ideal way to learn about a camp before making a decision on where to enroll their kids this summer. SuperCamp, a summer enrichment camp held at seven colleges throughout the U.S. provides families with a number of summer camp videos at its web site.

SuperCamp's videos include comments from parents of past SuperCamp graduates, comments from the graduates themselves, and interviews with SuperCamp facilitators. In addition, the videos show activities from the camp's Senior Forum high school program and Junior Forum middle school program from last year.

The videos at the SuperCamp web site were shot last summer at Stanford and Cal State San Marcos.

SuperCamp also provides written
summer camp testimonials at its web site and the camp gives parents an opportunity to speak directly with parents of former SuperCamp students who can answer camp questions from a parent's perspective.

Other information of value at the SuperCamp web site is media coverage of SuperCamp, which includes audio files of radio interviews with SuperCamp president, Bobbi DePorter, campers and parents, as well as several newspaper and magazine articles from such publications as The Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, and the Los Angeles Times. The
summer camp news section also includes quotes from a CNN story on SuperCamp.
