A Navy helicopter carrying five people crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the southwest coast of California on Tuesday night, killing at least three people.
Rescue crews are still looking for the two other people on board the SH60 Seahawk helicopter that had been in the middle of a training exercise when it went down. The helicopter had taken off from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz which was off the northwest Mexican coast.
The three bodies recovered were found on Wednesday morning and rescue crews have continued their search for the remaining two. The Navy has not released a statement regarding the crash or what caused the accident.
