Cornell Popular Among New York Summer Camps

SuperCamp announced today that one of its New York summer camps has already reached capacity, leaving just one camp in the state with available space for high school students.

SuperCamp's
summer enrichment programs are known to fill up early, particularly its ten-day Cornell summer camps held on the Ivy League school's campus. SuperCamp Customer Service and Enrollments Manager, Ruth Everett, indicated that there is a limited number of spaces available in SuperCamp's August 3-12 Senior Forum camp for students entering grades 9-12 in the fall.

SuperCamp also runs a ten-day summer enrichment camp at Cornell for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall. This program will be held July 22-31.

The summer enrichment program provides students with powerful learning and life skills that help them in school and in their personal lives. A study with over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates reported that over eighty percent of students said they increased both their confidence and self-esteem from having attended the program.

The learning skills taught at SuperCamp encompass reading speed and comprehension, creative writing, problem solving, critical thinking, study techniques, and test-taking strategies.

SuperCamp's
academic summer camps have been popular choices among parents since 1982. To date, over 50,000 students have graduated from the program.

The camps are held at seven colleges in the U.S. Like the Cornell site, SuperCamp's programs are filling up at all locations as parents rush to place their kids in camps before the end of school.
