Parents Looking for ROI From Summer Enrichment Programs

Like investors in the financial arena, parents who are about to spend money on a summer enrichment program are looking for a solid return on investment.

One way to measure the ROI of
academic summer camps is by a student's grades in the following school year. SuperCamp, which has operated summer academic programs for students in grades 6-12 since 1982, reports that 73 percent of students surveyed for a doctoral thesis indicated that their grades improved after SuperCamp.

SuperCamp also uses longer-term measures for return on the parents' investment. In a recent survey of over 150 SuperCamp graduates, 88 percent indicated that they went from high school into college. This compares with a national average of 65 percent of students, as reported by the U.S. Department of Education.

Parents also see a return in the areas of increased motivation, confidence and self-esteem from their SuperCamp graduates. These results are the result of the
summer enrichment camp's unique life skills training, which is designed with these outcomes in mind.

Still another measure is the improved relationships that often result within the home due to the improved communication skills acquired by the students at SuperCamp.

All of these results from SuperCamp combine to provide parents with an outstanding return on their summer camp investment. More information on this summer's programs can be obtained at SuperCamp.com and by calling 800-285-3276.
