Exodus Tyson, Daughter of Mike Tyson, Taken Off Life Support

Exodus Tyson, the 4-year-old daughter of legendary boxer Mike Tyson, was pronounced dead Tuesday morning just one day after being found hanging from a cable attached to a treadmill at her Phoenix home.

The young girl was found by her 7-year-old brother and after her mother removed the cable from around her neck she attempted to revive her until emergency crews arrived. Exodus was transported to St. Joe’s Hospital and placed on life support and was listed in “extremely critical condition.”

On Tuesday morning the family opted to take Exodus off life support after it became obvious she would not recover.

In a statement released by Mike Tyson the former heavyweight champion said, “The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time.”

There has been no word on a funeral or services for Exodus Tyson.
