Body Body Supports Muscular Dystrophy Fundraiser

Ranowear Inc., parent company of online retailer BodyBody.com announced that its support for a worthwhile charitable event held exclusively on the internet. The women’s apparel and gift company provided talent and financial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Fundraiser held on the premises of social networking website Utherverse (www.utherverse.net). Working as an associate to the organizers of the event, Ranowear, Inc. donated money and encouraged its employees and contractors to do their utmost to insure its success and help raise funds.

Event organizers include individual members acting as independent contractors on the utherverse website who are known by their social networking nicknames. While not associated Ranowear, Inc., these great individuals did yeoman’s work in helping raise funds to defeat the scourge of muscular dystrophy. Their colorful handles are Holly_K_Cuga, Caden and MistessKelly_AP. Each one of them are well known and highly respected members of the utherverse social community and they devote their talents and reputations to helping the disadvantaged and undereprivileged.

Event organizer Holly K Cuga states, “RLC is involved with MDA because of MistessKelly_AP. She came up with the idea of doing something that went along with the Telethon. She grew up watching the Telethon all weekend with her grandmother. She went to RLC with her proposal and was given support and authorization from RLC to make it a world event. We had 9 clubs and 21 designers involved. She got with Rand of RaD Designs. He thought it was a great cause and helped get the designer side together. The kick off party was sponsored by R3 promotions with Caden DJ’ing at the helm. Organized by Holly all of the R3 promotions team were on board to make sure this event happened smoothly. With over 90 people supporting the kick off party and over 21,000 rays collected in the first 3 hours of the event. Blake Logan was the special guest manning our kissing booth for charity with kisses starting at 10 rays going up to 200 rays for a kiss. Donation matching as high as 1000 rays. The Money will be taken out of the MDA_Charity_Evnt Profile by RLC by RLC Coorp Office, Barbara Beam who is the Director of Events for Utherverse. She will take the funds and have them converted and send the money and a letter to MDA. She will also supply me with a copy of the letter and a spreadsheet of all donations made to the profile. The final number of donations raised for the event was 45,001.70 rays which is the equivalent of about $3151.00 US Dollars.”
