Chicago Bears fans will find an expanded food roster at Soldier Field this fall, as DaBurger™ makes its professional sports debut. A half-pound pork burger served three different ways – all involving bacon – DaBurger was developed with diehard Chicago sports fans in mind.
“The Illinois Pork Producers are proud to bring you DaBurger, for those times when an ordinary burger just doesn’t cut it,” says Erin Cleary, director of marketing and education for the Illinois Pork Producers Association. “Bears fans deserve a bigger, better burger. One named in your honor, one that respects your passion for pigskin and pork.”
Three DaBurger formations will be available at Da Bears football games:
A specialty cart will keep DaBurgers hot and juicy for fans, and allow each DaBurger to be custom-assembled. DaBurger cart will be located at Section 427 on the upper level in Soldier Field, next to the ramp.
During the first four Bears home games, Illinois Pork Producers also will grill and offer free samples of ground pork on the Southeast Lawn of Soldier Field.
“Let’s be completely honest. Between DaBurgers and the ground pork samples at the stadium, we’re trying to get more ground pork on your plate at home,” Cleary adds. “In the spirit of the Pork: Be Inspired campaign, we’re hoping inspired Bears fans will eat more pork.”
