th WTJU (91.1 FM) will
broadcast one of the most extraordinary guitarists currently playing, Frank
Vignola, to Central Virginia. He has played with world renowned artists
including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel,
the Boston Pops, the New York Pops and the famed Les Paul. The New York Times
called him “one of the brightest…stars of the guitar.”
Vignola comes to Folk & Beyond with Aer Stephen with his
band including Glenn Tosto (of Gypsy Jazz Caravan) and Vinny Raniolo on guitar.
After the live performance on the radio the trio will head to Orange, Virginia
and play an intimate 8 PM show at The Light Well.
The radio show is sure to be amazing with musicians of this
