Kevin Garnett had surgery

The Boston Celtics made an announcement on May 26, 2009, that Kevin Garnett had surgery.  This successful surgery was done on his right knee to remove posterior knee bone spurs.  Team physician Dr. Brian McKeon performed the surgery. Kevin Garnett had spurs detected in his knee before the season.
