Pictures: Shirtless Levi Johnston Talks to GQ Magazine

Levi Johnston, the ex-fiance of Bristol Palin and the father of her 5-month-old baby, is posing shirtless in the new issue of GQ magazine. The 19-year-old opens up about his relationship with Bristol, 18, and her parents, Todd Palin and Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

Johnston and Palin were thrust into the media spotlight after Sarah Palin was named the Republican vice presidential candidate and Bristol’s pregnancy was announced. Bristol, 18, gave birth to son Tripp on December 27. Only weeks after his birth, Levi and Bristol broke off their engagement.

In the interview with GQ, Johnston says his once-strained relationship with the Palin family has improved. Johnston says the Palins aren’t “lying when they say that things are better.”

He still insists going to the Palin household is uncomfortable and claims he has limited access to Tripp. “Just going over there makes me pretty damn uncomfortable.  Just going over there, and Todd and Sarah sitting there staring at me, doesn't do it for me. Todd never says anything, really. Sarah, I don't know,” he tells GQ. “She's a politician. She knows how to throw in a fake smile and look happy. They're pretty good at that.”

Johnston also blamed Bristol’s parents for their breakup and alleges Todd Palin offered to buy Bristol a car if she broke up with him. “I know that her parents didn't want us together. I really don't think they did. So they probably put a little pressure on her,” he says. “But at the same time, they told us they wanted us to get married when they found out Bristol was pregnant.”
