Quantum Reading Helps Academic Summer Camp Students Succeed

For a generation that is bombarded with media messages that overwhelm the visual, auditory and physical senses, students today are naturally becoming much more impatient when it comes to traditional learning. Fortunately, programs such as SuperCamp, an academic summer camp that teaches learning and life skills to students ages 11 to 19, are teaching students how to read faster, comprehend more, and do it in a fraction of the time.

Through SuperCamp’s Quantum Reading academic program, students learn the powerful process of Quantum Reading in the span of a single afternoon. By taking these skills and applying them to their homework, kids and teens have reported increasing their
academic achievement in a fraction of the time they were spending before.

In this unique summer enrichment program, students first learn how to take control of their space. By maintaining a clean, organized reading environment with ample natural lighting and calm baroque music, campers learn how to calm their mind and body to prepare for the reading process.

Next, students learn how to manage their optimal physical state. In knowing that the mind, and body are connected, students are taught how to achieve ‘Alpha State’, the optimal state for learning and comprehension.

‘The Power of Eyes and Hands’ is the next step. Students take in how to use their hands and eyes together in order to read more easily and reduce reading fatigue.

Just like an eagle flying overhead, SuperCamp’s Quantum Reading lesson shows students how to read in clumps and layers in order to get more out of the page in less time. After doing so, students use ‘mind mapping’ skills and specific memory combinations to unlock their long-term memory process so that the information they have read is available to them at any time, especially at test time.

By practicing the Quantum Reading process, SuperCamp participants have been able to triple, and in some cases, even quadruple their reading speeds to over 1,000 words per minute. By doing so, students can achieve more in less time, stay mentally sharp and fresh, and prevent reading fatigue from getting in the way of their achievements.
