Exciting Professional Development Workshops for Teachers Offered in Nashville This July

Quantum Learning Network has added new summer dates to their Quantum Learning for Teachers (QLT) professional development workshops. QLT is a synergy of best practices supported by educational research that can be framed around any K-12 subject (reading, writing, math, etc.) or content that is taught in the classroom.

The latest QLT workshop program will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, July 9-10 at the Martin Professional Development Center. Encouraged to attend are Principal and Teacher teams, Assistant Principals, District Staff Development Directors, and Curriculum and Instruction Directors.

The goal of the workshop is to provide educators with the “how-to” for more effective content delivery and classroom management, and help them build a repertoire of teaching methods and tools that effectively engage every student in the classroom –resulting in the improvement of grades, motivation, and
student achievement.

Day one of the program is dedicated to understanding foundational structures and tools for teacher effectiveness. During this time, educators will learn the Quantum Learning method overview and framework, Narrative Chain, Big Brain Idea, The Five Tenets of Effective Teaching, The QL Success Model, The 8 Keys of Excellence, and much more.

During the second day, educators will continue to build on their knowledge through learning how to build classroom traditions, the Path of Memory, how to build a ‘Home Court Advantage’ in the classroom, Keying in the Prime Directive for Engaging Students, State Facilitation, Learning Diagrams, RespondAbility, Character Development Tools, Living Above the Line, The QL Lesson Design Frame, Practice on Success Model Experience, and Implementation.

Quantum Learning has been approved by the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory for their National Catalog of School Reform Models and is accredited by the Commission of International and Transregional Accreditation (CITA) and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Results have shown that after Quantum Learning advanced learning skills training, students show an 89 percent increase in self-esteem, 73 percent increase in grade improvement, 68 percent increase in attendance, and a 68 percent increase in positive behavior.

Quantum Learning is based on 28 years of experience and research and over 50,000 students and 40,000 educators positively impacted across the United States. Their methodology boosts teachers’ ability to inspire and students’ ability to achieve, providing important distinctions for what really works in the classroom. QLN is also parent company of SuperCamp, a leading
academic summer camp for kids and teens. To find out more about this, and other workshops across the country as well as for workshop enrollment, educators can call Carol Fetzer, Senior Consultant, Quantum Learning Network, at 1-800-285-3276 ext. 106, or visit www.QLN.com.
