Narconon Freedom Center Provides Successful Drug Treatment for Michigan Residents

This year there are even more residents of Michigan who are in need of effective drug treatment.   According to recent Michigan health statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice, 350,000 out of nearly 10 million Michigan residents have reported having substance abuse issues.  Sadly, only around 60,000 of these cases have actually sought help from a drug and or alcohol treatment program.

Unlike many states, the good news in Michigan is that there are many treatment options available for those struggling with addiction.  For the last 7 years, one center that has a high permanent sobriety rate is Narconon Freedom Center.  Located in Albion, Narconon Freedom Center has maintained an average 70% success rate among its program graduates.

Narconon Freedom Center provides a long-term, social education model drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. One reason why Narconon is so effective is because it takes a different approach to handling addiction with a drug-free approach.  The program focuses on raising the abilities of the individual by handling both the mental and physical components of addiction, while getting to the underlying reasons why they started using drugs in the first place.

Worldwide, the Narconon program has graduated more than 25,000 individuals since 1995 and has stably maintained an over 70% success rate for permanent sobriety. Over 1,200 of these graduates completed their drug treatment at the Narconon Center in Michigan.

Ramsy Darwish, Director of Intake for Narconon Freedom Center has spoken to thousands of people in Michigan who are struggling with substance abuse issues. Darwish understands that there are many different options to choose from when finding the right drug treatment program. “Really you have to assess the specific needs of the individual,” says Darwish. “Going into treatment is a life-changing decision and you want to choose the right program
to meet your or a loved one’s needs because that is the first thing that determines successful recovery.”

While the state of Michigan has a growing drug problem, those addicted don’t have to struggle without good help. If you or someone you know is in need of a
