Three brothers was found dead Monday in the Big Eddie
Tributary that flows into Lake Houston. Houston, Texas authorities were called
to the scene by a fisherman who spotted the bodies just after 10 am.
Investigators said there were no signs of foul play and
the cause of death appears to be accidental drowning.
The brothers – ages 21, 16 and 14 – went fishing Sunday. They
were fishing from the shore. Relatives say none of them could swim.
Police say it appears one brother went in to the water
voluntarily, but it’s unclear why. “One of them – by clothing found on the bank
– went into the water voluntarily. Not sure why the others followed him,” says
investigator Kese Smith.
