'Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria brings life to dead character in new film

Eva Longoria will be pulling double duty come August 24th when she begins filming How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancé for Gold Circle Films.

The star of 'Desperate Housewives' will continue working on Wisteria Lane during the week but her weekends belong to Hollywood. According to an agreement with ABC, Longoria has been given the green light to take the role of a dead fiancé in Jeff Lowell’s directorial debut How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancé.

Along side the Golden Globe nominated Longoria will be Paul Rudd and Lake Bell. The romantic comedy centers around a psychic (Bell) who falls in love with a skeptic (Rudd) while the ghost of his dead fiancé (Longoria) crosses over to keep the two apart.
