Arnold Schwarzenegger has been working on a memoir for over a year, his rep tells People magazine. The book, tentatively titled Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, will discuss everything from Schwarzenegger’s childhood to the end of his 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver.
Total Recall will be co-written by Peter Petre and will be published by Simon & Schuster. “Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world. Nobody has a life story even close to his,” said Simon and Schuster’s Jonathan Karp.
"He has been keeping notes and working on the book for over a year. He didn't want to write his autobiography while he was governor,” Schwarzenegger’s rep Adam Mendelsohn tells People magazine.
In addition to his memoir, Schwarzenegger is working on reviving his acting career. He recently signed on to star alongside Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Jason Statham in The Expendables 2.
