Limelight, starring Moby, Michael Alig, Peter Gatien, Sean Kirkham and Benjamin Brafman, opens in theaters Friday, September 23. The documentary takes a look at the rise and fall of the king of the New York City club scene in the 1980s – Ontario native Peter Gatien. Gatien’s empire was taken down by the crackdown on nightlife in the 90s. He was eventually deported to Canada.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 42 minutes and is not rated.
