Vitamins for Men – Some Common Misconceptions about Vitamins

Prograde Nutrition reveals some of the common misconceptions about vitamins for men

Men and women are biologically very different and that’s why vitamins for men are different than those for women. Jayson Hunter of Prograde Nutrition reveals some common misconceptions that people have about vitamins for men. He believes that most people think that vitamins for men are not needed since men are perceived to be stronger and fitter than women.

Hunter explains, “It is a myth that women are more health conscious compared to men. Men just do not talk about health like women do. This does not mean that they do not need vitamins for men to keep them healthy”. He adds, “This stereotype is furthered by the fact that there are many vitamins in the market targeted at women and children. However, you will find very few vitamins for men exclusively manufactured for men”.

Men, though biologically very different from women, often find it difficult to remain fit. This is in spite of the fact that it is often assumed that building muscle is the best way to keep fit for men. This has led to the general view that vitamins for men are not required.

Most men are also of the opinion that vitamins for men are for sissies or men who are weak. This is a very popular misconception about vitamins for men. The average Joe believes that vitamins are only for sportsmen or athletes and not for normal individuals who do nothing more strenuous than walking up the stairs to their office or work around the house. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Vitamins for men have an extremely crucial role to play to keep a man fit and healthy.

About Prograde Nutrition: Launched in April of 2007, Florida based Prograde Nutrition was created by two fitness professionals concerned with the lack of an ethical dietary supplement company for personal trainers to refer clients to. Prograde does not make its products available in any stores. Instead, customers can only find them online, or through fitness experts they term "Prograde Pros."

The success of the company is largely in part to the faith of the personal training community in the company's founders, Jim Labadie, Ryan Lee, Jayson Hunter and Sammy See.
