Search crews have found four more bodies from the Air France jet that disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean on June 1 after departing Rio de Janeiro en route to Paris.
The bodies found on Sunday pushes the total to six bodies recovered; there were 228 people on board Air France Flight 447 when it went down. There have also been reports that more bodies have been spotted in the area but have not been recovered yet.
Investigators have not concluded what caused the flight to go down but they have turned their attention to the possibility of faulty speed sensors on the plane. Those sensors had been providing inconsistent information in the minutes leading up to the flight losing contact with officials as it headed into a strong storm.
The search has also turned up several pieces of the plane as well as luggage but the flight’s black boxes have not been found.
