Teen summer camps are covering a large range of content including learning skills, life skills and character development to provide significant value to parents and students.
This strategy plays directly into the needs of parents who want to see lasting value from their investment in a summer program, whether it be teen summer camps or academic summer camps.
SuperCamp, which runs teen summer camps at seven U.S. colleges is a leader in the learning and life skills arena, having graduated over 50,000 students in its 27 years of operation.
"We have always placed a premium on the long-term value of our 10-day summer enrichment programs," said Bobbi DePorter, president of SuperCamp. "And our results speak for themselves in terms of the large percentage of students who raise their grades, confidence and motivation after attending SuperCamp."
Ms. DePorter is referring to a study conducted with over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates, in which 73 percent indicated they increased their grades and 83 percent said their confidence grew following SuperCamp.
Programs are still available for this summer for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall and for students entering grades 9-12. SuperCamp also runs a unique college summer camp for students entering college or already in college. The program, Quantum U, is eight days long and is held at Colorado College.
