Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant may walk down the aisle, but there’s a twist

Elizabeth Hurley’s eagerness to marry Indian businessman Arun Nayer has taken a seemingly bazaar turn. It has been reported that Hurley’s former boyfriend, Hugh Grant , has been asked to be the best man. Grant and Hurley had a 13 year relationship that the former Estee Lauder model has defined as “like husband and wife.”

As for the wedding Elizabeth has said, “I cannot reveal the exact date but it is very close.” Hurley, who has a 4-year-old son with film producer Steve Bing, has expressed a desire to have another child.

The marriage brings little consolation to Grant’s current girlfriend, Jemima Khan, who has reportedly ordered him to turn down the best man offer. She is apparently tired of the speculation that surrounds the relationship between Hurley and her boyfriend.

That relationship received prominent exposure in 1995 when Grant was caught with a prostitute, Divine Brown. Despite the episode Grant and Hurley remained together for another five years.

Hurley has been dating Nayer since 2003.
