James W Von Brunn Identified as Holocaust Museum Shooter

Authorities have confirmed that James W Von Brunn, a known anti-Semite who has published works concerning Adolf Hitler, the Third Reich and white supremacy was the gunman who entered Washington D.C.’s Holocaust Museum on Wednesday and shot a security guard before being shot himself.

James W Von Brunn allegedly walked into the Holocaust Museum shortly before 1:00 p.m. carrying a long rifle and quickly opened fire. A security guard was struck but fire was returned and Von Brunn was hit.

A check on Von Brunn’s record revealed he spent six years in federal prison. His current condition has not been released but he was believed to have been hit in the head and is said to be in serious condition. The security guard that was hit is also believed to be hospitalized but his condition is not believed to be as serious.
