College Basketball Recruiting: NBPA Top 100 Camp Releases Rosters Tuesday

The NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp released its rosters, according to reports on Tuesday.

The event, which will take place at the University of Virginia from June 18-20, is expected to be the best event for high school basketball this summer.

According to Hoop Scoop, only one player ranked in the top 25 from the class of 2010 will not be in attendance at the NBPA Camp: Joshua Smith (Kentwood HS, Kentwood, WA). In addition, just two of the top seven players in the class of 2011 will be absent as well in Tony Wroten (Garfield H.S., Seattle, WA) and Trevor Lacey (Butler H.S., Huntsville, AL).

The headliners for the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp are Harrison Barnes, Brandon Knight, Jared Sullinger, Tristan Thompson, Will Barton, Deshaun Thomas, Josh Selby, Cory Joseph, Adreian Payne, Luke Cothron, Kyrie Irving, Josh Selby, Jereme Richmond, Dominique Ferguson, Perry Jones, Daniel Bejarano, Dion Waiters, Ray McCallum, Joshua Hairston, Andre Dawkins, Reggie Bullock, Markel Starks, Joe Jackson, Doron Lamb, Ryan Harrow, Tyler Thornton, Kendall Marshall, Jelan Kendrick, Gary Franklin and Roscoe Smith.

For the rising juniors, Michael Gilchrist, LaQuinton Ross, Austin Rivers, LaBryan Nash, Angelo Chol, Wayne Blackshear, Myck Kabongo and Rakeem Christmas will also be in attendance at the NBPA Camp.

The camp will feature 24 of the top 25 rising seniors in Rivals.com’s rankings as well. However, just three of Rivals’ top ten rising juniors will participate.

Of top ten players per position by Rivals.com, nine of the top 10 point guards, eight shooting guards, all ten small forwards, nine power forwards and nine centers will be attendance.
