The Orlando Magic will host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of the 2009 NBA Finals on Sunday. The game will be televised on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
Game 5 will be the final home game for the Magic as they look to force a Game 6 in
Kobe Bryant finished with 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers in the win. Derek Fisher hit the game-tying three with 4.6 seconds left in regulation and another to clinch the win in overtime. He finished with 12 points.
Pau Gasol and Trevor Ariza both scored 16 points for the Lakers as they combined to have 19 rebounds amongst them.
Dwight Howard had an amazing game defensively, setting the NBA Finals record for most blocks in a game with nine. He added 21 rebounds, 12 of which came in the first quarter, and scored 16 points. However, he may be remembered more for missing two free throws in the closing seconds of regulation that could have pushed the game out of reach for
The Lakers are just one win away from winning their 15th NBA championship and first since Shaquille O'Neal left the team in 2004. LA leads the series 3-1.
