Paris Hilton commits to a year of celibacy

The star of the Simple Life has committed to making her life a little more simple. The 25 year-old heiress revealed “I'm not having sex for a year. I've decided. … I'll kiss, but nothing else.”

As for the ubiquitous blonde’s past history, she has stated that she has had sex twice and the reputation that has been labeled with is unjust, “People think I sleep with everyone, but I'm not like that. I like kissing, but that's all I do. I'm not having sex for a year, I've decided. I'll kiss but nothing else.”

Hilton might not even have the time for extracurricular activities with the opposite sex. Her music career has apparently landed her a spot in this year’s V Festival in England. Show organizers have asked her to perform for some VIP guests that include model Naomi Campbell. Hilton recently released her debut single ‘Stars are Blind’ and is excited about her music, “I really want to do a festival so I can prove I have talent.”

Hopefully for Paris she does a better job with music than she does with current events. When asked by a British journalist what she thought of Tony Blair, Hilton responded “Who?, Oh yeah... he's like your president?”

Rumors had Paris attached to the big screen adaptation of Dallas, but she reportedly turned down the role of Lucy Ewing saying it was “too demanding.” Instead she would like to stick to making smaller films until she feels ready for a larger role. She made her acting debut in last years House of Wax.
