Quantum Learning for Teachers Professional Development Workshop Planned for Elgin, Illinois

Quantum Learning Network, in association with the Elementary Education Department of the National College of Education at National-Louis University, will be hosting a Quantum Learning for Teachers professional development workshop at National-Louis University from June 22 – 26, in Elgin, Illinois.

Quantum Learning for Teachers is a nationally recognized program that utilizes Quantum Learning methods, a synergy of best practices supported by educational research that can be framed around any K-12 subject (reading, writing, math, etc.) or content that is taught in the classroom. It has been proven to increase
academic achievement and improve students’ attitudes toward learning.

During the five-day workshop, teachers learn key strategies to increase academic achievement in students. They master powerful ways to motivate their students by creating an engaging and brain-compatible learning environment, learn how to use music in the classroom to enhance academic results, deliver effective presentations and elicit more participation, design dynamic lessons and implementation plans, and more.

Quantum Learning methods are proven to be extremely effective in the classroom. QL-trained teachers learn the how and why of educational instruction from top academic facilitators who model effective QL classroom methods throughout the workshop.

From the workshop, teachers gain
advanced learning skills to understand and better know how to manage their classrooms. As a result, students who study under QL teachers attain higher achievement levels and gain improved attitudes toward their learning. Quantum Learning places the passion and fun back into the classroom. CPDU and Graduate credits are also offered for additional cost for attending the program.

Educators who have experienced Quantum Learning have more fun, infuse more passion, and earn significantly better student results than their peers. Over 40,000 teachers will agree that Quantum Learning is the educational model that sparks the genius in every child as they prepare to excel in a world landscape that is continually changing.

Today, Quantum Learning has had a positive impact on academic achievement in 18 schools in four states; 100 percent of teachers who use Quantum Learning in their classrooms report being more effective, and after Quantum Learning, students’ grades increased by 35 percent. Results have shown that after Quantum Learning training, students show an 89 percent increase in self-esteem, 73 percent increase in grade improvement, 68 percent increase in attendance, and a 68 percent increase in positive behavior.
