Teenager Falls Asleep in Tattooist’s Chair, Wakes up with 56 Tattoos on Her Face

A Belgian teenager who went into a tattoo parlor and asked for three small stars on her face dozed off while being inked and awoke to find 56 tattoos decorating one side of her face.

While Kimberley Vlaeminck told police she fell asleep during the procedure the tattoo artist refuted that claim and told Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws that the 18-year-old “was awake and looked in the mirror several times as the procedure was being done.”

Rouslan Toumaniantz went on to tell the paper that it was only after Vlaeminck showed her family her face that the problem arose. A complaint was filed with police who are now investigating the matter.
