Academic Summer Camp Teaches Character Development to Kids and Teens

In the past 28 years, over 50,000 students have been positively influenced by the learning and life skills they have acquired at SuperCamp’s academic summer camps held worldwide. SuperCamp has found that the life skills component of their Quantum Learning methodologies is equally effective with students in the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Virtually every camper who attends one or more of SuperCamp’s
summer enrichment programs benefits in one way or another from the carefully mastered, reasearch-proven curriculum. Some of the life skills areas that pre-teens and teens discover include the codes for personal excellence, the 8 Keys of Excellence, valuable communication skills to help convey needs and feelings in a positive manner, relationship and problem-solving techniques to help resolve conflicts, the value of ‘venturing out’ of comfort zones, the importance of ‘Living Above the Line’, goal-setting techniques, and how to break through the barriers that block success, which relates directly with pre-teen and teen motivation.

The 8 Keys of Excellence, which are the core foundation of SuperCamp, include Integrity, Failure Leads to Success, Speak with Good Purpose, This Is It, Commitment, Ownership, Flexibility, and Balance.

At each of SuperCamp’s five learning and life skills programs, campers enter a uniquely positive environment. Teens, in particular, in the Senior Forum
teen summer camp and college prep program, Quantum U, feel safe to express themselves, explore who they are, and connect with one another. A big part of this trust factor is the life skills curriculum that they experience during the camp. As a result, the teen life skills acquired by Senior Forum and Quantum U campers have extraordinary and long-lasting value.

The 8 Keys of Excellence are the foundation for gaining new
life skills at SuperCamp. Excellence provides a framework for success in life; whether you are a parent or a student, you are the master of your world. You create the direction and outcome of your life, and that is the mentality SuperCamp aims to embody their students with.

SuperCamp is hosted on seven prominent college campuses across the country, including Stanford University, Wake Forest University, and Cornell University. For additional information on curriculum, summer camp locations, and enrollment, please call 1-800-28-LEARN or visit www.SuperCamp.com.
