Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson is set to become a married man. A spokesperson for SNL has confirmed Thompson, 33, popped the question to model Christina Evangeline. The Dirty reports the happy couple plan to tie the knot on November 11, 2011. No other details have been released.
Thompson starred on All That and Kenan & Kel before joining Saturday Night Live in 2003. He most recently voiced Greedy Smurf in The Smurfs. The comedian is not the only star to announce his engagement this week. Jack Osbourne, the son of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, revealed he is engaged to aspiring actress Lisa Stelly.
Stelly Tweeted about the news Friday. "The most amazing man I've ever met asked me to marry him....and he wasn't joking! Crazy, right? :),” the 26-year-old wrote.
